Elderly and Disabled Pensions Started to Be Paid

Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş announced that they have started depositing the monthly payments of elderly and disabled people, totaling 6,2 billion liras for July, into the accounts.

According to the statement made by the ministry, Minister of Family and Social Services Göktaş stated that they continue to develop comprehensive and regular social assistance programs for disabled and elderly citizens, and reported that services for disabled and elderly citizens are carried out within the framework of human-oriented and rights-based policies.

Minister Göktaş emphasized that they are by the side of the disabled and elderly in every field from education to health, from economy to social life so that they can live independently as well as fully and effectively participate in social life, and said, “In this direction, we have started to deposit a total of 3,46 billion liras of old age pension and disability pension, including 2,75 billion liras for the month of July and 6,2 billion liras for the disabled pension. I hope that the payments will be beneficial to all our citizens.”
