Erciyes Inc., affiliated with Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality, held an important meeting in Mersin in cooperation with TÜRSAB Erciyes and Çukurova Regional Representation Board (BTK).
Hotel and business managers operating in Erciyes, the flagship of winter tourism in Türkiye, came together with tourism professionals in Mersin and Adana. This program, organized within the scope of cooperation and promotional activities for the winter season, was organized with the aim of increasing the tourism potential between the two regions.
The meeting held in Mersin was attended by Kayseri Erciyes A.Ş. Board Chairman Hamdi Elcuman, Çukurova BTK Chairman Dilek Dere, Mersin Chamber of Commerce Assembly Member Hakan Bayındır, Kayseri Association Chairman Mustafa Alpar, many travel agency officials from Mersin and Adana, and managers of hotels and facilities operating in Erciyes Ski Resort.
Kayseri Erciyes Inc. Board Chairman Hamdi Elcuman, drew attention to the growing potential of Erciyes at national and international levels and provided a detailed presentation of the opportunities offered by the region. Providing information about accommodation opportunities, ski slopes and transportation facilities, Elcuman emphasized that Erciyes is a destination where tourism can be done in all four seasons.
In one-on-one meetings held after the presentation, direct contacts were established between Erciyes business owners and tourism professionals from Mersin and Adana. Tour packages and organizations that could be organized throughout the season were discussed.
Within the scope of the meeting, Erciyes business owners held one-on-one meetings with agency representatives in Çukurova and discussed their pre-season mutual expectations, collaborations and possible joint projects.
At the end of the program, Hamdi Elcuman presented a plaque of appreciation to those who contributed, stating that such meetings strengthen regional tourism and pave the way for new collaborations.
