
Turkish Airlines was awarded the Sustainable Finance Pioneer Award, one of the most prestigious awards in the field of sustainable finance, by Ishka, for its innovative financing transaction in which it integrated a sustainability-linked financing structure into the JOLCO financing model for the first time in the financing of two new-generation, fuel-efficient Airbus A321neo aircraft.
The financing provided by Societe Generale was linked to Turkish Airlines' performance commitments for the key performance indicator of carbon emission intensity and in line with sectoral international standards.
Making statements regarding the award Turkish Airlines Board of Directors and Executive Committee Member and Deputy General Manager (Financial) Assoc.
