QNET, one of the leading companies in the direct selling sector, contributed to the “Let Your Salt Be in the Soup” project with the vision of strengthening solidarity and social awareness. QNET volunteers participated in the distribution of food for homeless individuals.
Placing social awareness at the center of its business model, QNET continues to strengthen its civil society partnerships. The company took an active role in the field for homeless individuals by participating in the volunteer program carried out with the “Çorbada Tuzun Olsun” Association.
The QNET volunteer team participated in hot meal distribution at various locations and made one-on-one contact with individuals in need of assistance. The relief effort reached 120 people, creating a meaningful experience where not only physical needs but also emotional connections came to the fore.
Seeing social benefit as a sustainable responsibility, QNET not only provided support with its contribution to the project, but also aimed to be the voice of the invisible segments of society. In this context, the company believes that sincere connections established with individuals will contribute to social integration in the long term.
“We will continue with social responsibility projects”
Irmak Sütçü, QNET Turkey Marketing and Communications Manager, said that the “Çorbada Tuzun Olsun” project is not only an aid campaign but also a social solidarity movement that aims to reconnect homeless individuals with society. “As QNET, we see generating social benefit as an inseparable part of our way of doing business. While supporting the ‘Çorbada Tuzun Olsun’ project, our aim was not only to meet basic needs, but also to see the unseen and hear the unheard. It was extremely meaningful for us to be in the field with our volunteers during this process, to establish a contact worthy of human dignity and to strengthen the culture of solidarity. In line with our understanding of social responsibility, we will continue to be present in projects that touch every segment of society.”
Evren Tüfekçi, Chairman of the Board of Çorbada Tuzun Olsun Association, who stated that they are a bridge between the homeless who isolate themselves from society and the society, said, “We attach great importance to corporate collaborations. Because we can only overcome a deep and multi-dimensional problem such as homelessness with social awareness and shared responsibility. We will continue to fight for individuals living on the streets to be visible and to be reintegrated into society. We would like to thank the QNET family, who have been with us during this process, for their contributions and sensitivity.”
