THE DOOR TO TECHNOLOGY WILL BE OPENED
Supporting young people who are the guarantee of the future in Kocaeli at every opportunity, the Metropolitan Municipality organizes KODELİG competitions to encourage students to work in the fields of robotics and coding. The KODELİG'17 Robotics and Coding Competition, which will be held by the Youth and Sports Services Department at the Şehit Polis Recep Topaloğlu Sports Hall between June 19-25 for high school, middle school and primary school students, will open Kocaeli's door to technology and bring together the technology leaders of the future. The first place winners will win 30 thousand TL, the second place winners will win 20 thousand TL and the third place winners will win 10 thousand TL.
THERE ARE 10 CATEGORIES IN THE COMPETITION
The KODELİG'25 Robotics and Coding Competition, which will be held for the third time this year with the aim of introducing technology to young people living and studying in Kocaeli, increasing their interest in information technologies, enabling them to discover their talents and supporting their development in social and cultural areas, has 10 categories: Basic Line Follower (middle school), Advanced Line Follower (high school), Fast Line Follower (middle school), Micro Sumo (middle school, high school), Mini Sumo (high school), Robot Football (primary school, middle school), Robot Dance (primary school, middle school), Zero Waste Clean Gulf (high school), Find the Target (high school) and Tozkoparan Kocaeli.
INTEREST IN THE COMPETITION IS INCREASING EVERY YEAR
A total of 440 people will participate in the KODELİG'25 Robotics and Coding Competition, where a total of 815 team applications were received. 39 of the participants in the competition are primary school students, 302 are middle school students, 371 are high school students and 103 are independent applicants. This year, a total of 815 people, including 1255 students and advisors, will participate in the competition. The number of applications for the KODELİG'25 Robotics and Coding Competition, which will be held for the third time, reached a record level compared to previous years. Students, who will demonstrate their skills in different coding branches, will have an exciting experience full of technology.
