
The Indonesia Office, which will support ASELSAN's growth in Southeast Asia, was officially opened.
ASELSAN, one of the biggest participants of the INDODEFENCE 2025 Fair held in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, strengthened its presence in the region with the opening of its Indonesia Office. ASELSAN took important steps in developing new business partnerships and cooperation in the field of joint production at the fair. ASELSAN signed five agreements that will increase its effectiveness in the Indonesian defense ecosystem at INDODEFENCE 2025. The strategic importance of cooperation between Turkey and Indonesia was underlined with the agreements signed in the presence of senior officials from both countries during the fair.
Five agreements from ASELSAN
The agreement with PT PINDAD covers cooperation in weapon systems, guidance and fire control technologies. PT LEN Industri covers technology transfer and joint production in radar, surveillance, cybersecurity and command systems through DEFEND ID. The agreement with CSC Group focuses on joint opportunities, while the teaming agreement with Excalibur Army includes the use of ASELSAN systems in Excalibur Army’s Indonesian PATRIOT 4x4 vehicles. The PT PAL agreement covers modernization and new platform development.
ASELSAN officially opened the ASELSAN Indonesia Office during the fair to support strategic partnerships and continue its growth in the region. ASELSAN Indonesia will serve as a center for direct interaction, customized solution development and long-term maintenance. The opening ceremony was attended by the President of Defense Industries Prof. Dr. Haluk Görgün, Deputy Minister of National Defense Şuay Alpay, Deputy Chief of General Staff General Kemal Yeni, ASELSAN CEO Ahmet Akyol, ROKETSAN General Manager Murat İkinci, HAVELSAN General Manager Dr. Mehmet Akif Nacar and Turkish and Indonesian officials.
'Technology will build bridges'
President of Defense Industries Prof. Dr. Görgün evaluated the official opening of the ASELSAN Indonesia Office with the following words:
“I am honored to witness the opening of ASELSAN’s Indonesia Office and the signing of strategic agreements that strengthen our defense partnership in the region. I believe that this office will build bridges of technology, knowledge and friendship between our countries, and will bring a good future for both countries and new successes in the defense industry.”

ASELSAN CEO Akyol also highlighted the importance of the company’s growing footprint in Southeast Asia, saying, “We are proud to bring advanced capabilities and reliable collaboration to an important strategic market with our new office in Indonesia.
