Providing a safe, comfortable and fast transportation service to the people of Kayseri with its strong bus fleet including electric buses as well as rail system lines and tram vehicles, Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Inc. has served a total of 6 million 243 thousand 163 passengers, 696 million 569 thousand 986 passengers on rail system lines and 222 million 813 thousand 149 passengers on bus lines in the 918-year period.
2 New Lines Added to the Rail System
Having expanded its rail system network and knitted four sides of the city with iron networks, Metropolitan Transportation Inc. has put the 7-kilometer Anafartalar-City Hospital-Mobilyakent T11 line with 3 stations and the 6-kilometer Şehit Furkan Doğan – Anayurt T9 line with 4 stations into service. The Metropolitan Municipality has also added 11 trams needed for the new lines to its rail system fleet.
On the other hand, Metropolitan Transportation Inc., which considers every detail for citizens to travel comfortably in rail system vehicles, has also activated the free wifi service in trams.
A First in the Transportation Industry
Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality has implemented the Wind Power Plant consisting of 3 turbines, which is the first RES project in the public transportation sector in Türkiye and will meet the energy needs of public transportation.
Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality, aiming for sustainable environmentally friendly transportation for future generations using wind energy, will produce 21 million kilowatt-hours of electricity per year with 60 megawatts of power, while striving to produce energy using its own resources in public transportation services with this project.
In addition, the Metropolitan Municipality established a Solar Power Plant (SPP) consisting of 2 panels with a power of 3 megawatts and produces 272 million kilowatts/hour of electricity from this plant.
Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality, which is advancing step by step towards the goal of clean energy in transportation with the huge investments it has signed, hosted the Eurasia Conference on Clean Energy Vehicles in Transportation, one of the most prestigious transportation conferences in Eurasia.
Pay As You Go Project Launched
Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality has started a new era in rail system transportation. The “Pay As You Go” application was put into operation in the rail system on Monday, June 2.
Strong Bus Fleet
In order to increase the power of its bus fleet, the metropolitan municipality added 26 buses to the Transportation Inc., including 8,5 13-meter buses, 18 16-meter diesel buses, and 55 electric buses.
Considering the comfort of citizens traveling using transfer points, the Metropolitan Municipality arranged 9 closed stops at transfer points and opened the Yogunburç Mini Terminal building for Develi, Tomarza and Bünyan district passengers.
Kart38 Online Transactions
Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality, which follows technological innovations in the field of transportation as in every field, has put the Kart38 Online Transactions system into service to facilitate the use of public transportation by citizens. On the other hand, Ulaşım A.Ş., which provides services with automatic card filling devices in various parts of the city, increased the number of devices from 2019 in 56 to 105.
Transportation Inc. also provides great convenience to citizens in the parking lots it provides service to. Vehicle owners using Transportation Inc. parking lots can pay with a credit card here, while http://www.kayseriulasim.com can easily carry out transactions such as subscription, debt inquiry and payment via the website. Ulaşım A.Ş. also provides a separate convenience to drivers who want to use the parking lots with its Park Et Valet service, which is one of its new applications and is available at 4 locations.
Discounted Subscription Card from Student Friendly Metropolitan Municipality
In line with the instructions of the student and youth-friendly President Büyükkılıç, Ulaşım A.Ş. has implemented the discounted subscription card application, which offers advantageous prices and 150 monthly rides, and 60 students benefit from this service.
Türkiye's First and Largest Active Shared Bicycle System: 'Kaybis'
Having attracted great interest from the people of Kayseri with Kaybis, Türkiye's first and largest active shared bicycle system, by increasing the number of stations from 6 to 51 in 91 years, Ulaşım A.Ş. has also successfully sold the system to cities such as Yozgat, Kilis, Aksaray and Kırklareli, making it available for citizens in a total of 8 cities.
Public Transport Education for Children
In order to ensure that people internalize the rules of public transportation from an early age, Transportation Inc. provided practical public transportation training to a total of 75 thousand students from 35 schools.

120 Million TL Contribution to the Economy
Ulasim A.S., which has the ability to produce spare parts for rail system vehicles completely domestically, provided a domestic production benefit of 120 million TL to the economy with the parts it designed with its own engineers and produced in cooperation with Turkish industry.
