Preparations are starting for the Kurtuluş Covered Marketplace, which will be built by Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality. Traffic arrangements have been made by UKOME for the market, construction of which will begin shortly.
According to the decision taken by the Transportation Coordination Center (UKOME), a "one-way" arrangement was made on 3 surrounding streets during the construction period. As of Wednesday, June 25, 2025, vehicle traffic flow will be one-way until a new arrangement is made by UKOME on Sanayi Sokak, İnal Sokak and Tarlaiçi Sokak.
While drivers and pedestrians are asked to comply with the traffic rules on the specified streets, UKOME made the following statement: “Due to the construction work of Kurtuluş Covered Marketplace, traffic will be one-way on Sanayi Sokak, İnal Sokak and Tarlaiçi Sokak until a new arrangement is made by UKOME. This arrangement is being made in order to ensure the safety of life and property in the region. When exiting the construction zone, excavation vehicles will use the following routes: Şentürk Sokak, Tarlaiçi Sokak, Asarcıklı Caddesi, Yunusemre Caddesi and the Ring Road; and when returning to the construction zone, they will use the following routes: Asarcıklı Caddesi, Halkçarşısı Sokak, Şentürk Sokak. Loading and unloading of goods at workplaces on Sanayi Sokak, İnal Sokak and Tarlaiçi Sokak will be possible between 07.00:10.00 and XNUMX:XNUMX in the morning.”
