
Organized for the first time in Türkiye, the Turkish Pickleball Leagues Türkiye Championship was held at the Mihraplı Pickleball courts between June 13-15, hosted by the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality.
In many countries, there is an official federation for pickleball, where many national and international organizations are held, and the excitement of the Turkish Championship was experienced. More than 41 athletes participated in the league matches organized in 1.500 provinces under the leadership of the Turkish Pickleball Leagues Committee. After the local leagues, athletes who ranked in their provinces competed in regional leagues held in Ankara, Denizli, Şanlıurfa, Mersin and Bursa. After the league matches, 60 athletes who dominated their opponents competed fiercely in the semi-final and final matches organized in cooperation with the International Pickleball Federations Turkey Representative and Bursa Metropolitan Municipality. The matches at the Mihraplı Pickleball Courts were very exciting, and athletes competed using all their skills to be ranked. At the end of the tournament, awards were presented to athletes who ranked in the categories of Over 14 Singles Men, Over 14 Singles Women, Over 14 Mixed Doubles, 8-13 Singles Men, and 8-13 Singles Girls.
Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Bozbey, Deputy Governor Rıza Gençoğlu, CHP Provincial Chairman Nihat Yeşiltaş, International Pickleball Federations Turkey Representative Davut Güngör, Youth and Sports Provincial Director Rahmi Aksoy, Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Secretary General Mehmet Yıldız, Metropolitan Municipality managers, Pickleball Federation officials, representatives of sponsor companies and athletes attended the award ceremony.

President Mustafa Bozbey, who started his speech by celebrating Father's Day, congratulated all the athletes who participated in the championship. President Mustafa Bozbey, who said that they were making step-by-step progress in making Bursa the capital of sports, stated that they would continue to support the sport of pickleball. President Bozbey, who stated that they wanted young people and children to be interested in at least one branch of sports, said, “In this way, we will ensure that they become good individuals and good people. Our families should definitely direct their children to sports. I congratulate our athletes who won. It was a good tournament with the participation of approximately 41 teams and approximately 50 athletes from 60 cities. As the Metropolitan Municipality, we will continue to host such events.”
