The deadly conflict between Israel and Iran has entered its fifth day, with both sides expanding their attacks.
Iran's air defenses were activated over Tehran tonight, and the Israel Defense Forces warned residents several times to take shelter when waves of missile attacks from Iran were detected.
Israeli claims: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he believes Israel's strikes have significantly set back Iran's nuclear program. "I think we are sending them back for a long, long time," he told a news conference.
Meanwhile, as the conflict between Israel and Iran escalates, the death toll in both countries has risen. Since the beginning of the conflict, the death toll has risen to 24 in Israel and 224 in Iran.
In an early morning IDF statement, residents were instructed to move into bomb shelters and “remain there until further notice.”
The IDF said sirens were sounding in several areas of northern Israel.
Then about half an hour later, residents of northern Israel were allowed to leave their bomb shelters after the latest wave of missiles were detected from Iran.
