The winter schedule of City Lines is ending, the new summer schedule will be applied between June 23 and September 7. According to the arrangement made in the summer period of 2025, Çengelköy-Kuzguncuk-Kabataş Beşiktaş stopover was added to the line. In addition, the daily number of trips on the Maltepe-Adalar line was increased from 24 to 30.
Providing sea transportation in Istanbul for 174 years, the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality subsidiary, Şehir Hatları, is switching to the summer schedule as of June 23, 2025. Carrying approximately 32 million passengers per year with its 40 lines, Şehir Hatları will make an average of 7 trips per day during the summer period that will last until September 2024, 863. With the new arrangement made in the summer schedule of Şehir Hatları, the Çengelköy-Kuzguncuk-Kabataş added a Beşiktaş stopover to the line. Accordingly, Çengelköy-Kuzguncuk-Kabataş 24 of the 16 daily trips on the line were arranged to stop at Beşiktaş. The number of daily trips on the Maltepe-Adalar line was increased from 24 to 30. Thus, the service capacity was increased during the summer season.
ISLANDS LINE WILL PROVIDE INTENSIVE SERVICE
The Adalar line will be in intensive service in the summer of 2025. The Tuzla-Pendik-Adalar line, which was put into service last year, will continue its services this summer. Kabataş-The Islands, Islands-Beşiktaş, Bostancı-Adalar ring line and the Bostancı-Büyükada-Sedef Island line will be in service this year as well, as they were last year.
NIGHT CRUISES WILL CONTINUE DURING THE SUMMER
Night services will continue in the summer of 2025. Night services will continue every day on the Bostancı-Adalar ring line. Kadıköy-On the Karaköy-Beşiktaş line, the services on the nights connecting Friday to Saturday and Saturday to Sunday will continue throughout the summer.
MUSICAL MOONLIGHT TRIPS WILL ADD COLOR TO ISTANBUL NIGHTS
City Lines' summer classic, Moonlight Tours, held every Saturday, will continue throughout the summer. Moonlight tours will again be held in Bostancı-Kadıköy-It will be done on the Eminönü-Üsküdar-Beşiktaş-Rumeli Kavağı-Anadolu Kavağı line. The Vapur Musicians will add color to the moonlight tours this summer with their songs.
BOSPHORUS TOURS WILL ALSO BE IN SERVICE
In addition to all these, Bosphorus Tours, which continue to be held in summer and winter and offer the opportunity to see the unique beauties of Istanbul with City Lines ferries, will also be in service. Both tours, the Long Bosphorus Tour and the Short Bosphorus Tour, will be held once a day. The Short Bosphorus Tour will be held twice a day on official holidays and religious festivals.
