Summer Evenings in Yoroz, the Pearl of the Black Sea

Yoroz City Forest, where it is possible to see the unique beauties of the Black Sea at the same time, where walks can be made in touch with nature, and where the districts of Ordu and Giresun can be seen from its summit when the weather is clear, has become a popular destination for citizens on summer evenings. Contributing to Ordu tourism with the work carried out, Yoroz welcomes visitors day and night.

Located in the Saraycık Neighborhood of the Altınordu district of Ordu and declared an Urban Forest in June 2006 during the term of Ordu Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Mehmet Hilmi Güler as the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Yoroz, which is 900 meters high, has taken on a completely different identity with the work done. Yoroz, whose appeal has increased after the work completed in the previous term and made in harmony with nature, has started to host nature enthusiasts in particular during the summer months. Nature enthusiasts who do not want to miss the sunset in the evening watch the sunset from the summit. Citizens who also have the opportunity to watch the beauty of the city in the evening spend an unforgettable day at the summit of Yoroz.

REACHING THE SUMMIT IS DONE WITH 1.100 STEPS

The climb to the Yoroz City Forest, presented to Ordu Tourism by the Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Mehmet Hilmi Güler, is made with 1.100 steps built in harmony with nature and without disturbing the balance of nature. After the difficult climb, visitors encounter the magnificent Ordu and Giresun landscape and relieve all the fatigue of the difficult climb.

IT IS FLOODED WITH VISITORS DAY AND NIGHT

The Yoroz Urban Forest, which has gained a new identity with the work carried out, is gaining appreciation from its visitors and is expected to be one of the most visited areas of Ordu this summer and in the coming years. The Altınordu district and Giresun can be viewed from a bird's eye view from the Yoroz summit, which fascinates with its view.
