Ordu Water Accident Prevention Center (OSKEM) affiliated with Ordu Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department opened the season. OSKEM teams will ensure the safety of the beaches on 23 beaches throughout the summer season, with 100 personnel, 5 jet-skis, 3 zodiac boats and 2 ATV.
Ordu Metropolitan Municipality continues its work to ensure that citizens who want to swim in the sea have a safe and trouble-free season with the arrival of the summer months. OSKEM Altınordu, affiliated with the Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department, completed the necessary preparations at the beaches determined in Thursday, Gülyalı, Fatsa and Ünye districts and started its activities that will last until September 15.
SERVICE WILL BE SERVED BETWEEN 10.30 AND 19.00
OSKEM teams, which will provide service between 10 and 15 every day of the week between 10.30 June and 19.00 September, will keep the precautions at the highest level on the beaches. The Metropolitan Municipality aims to have a problem-free season with warning and information signs, life preservers and watchtowers to be placed on all beaches, as well as lifeguards who are experts in their fields and have undergone rigorous training.
On the other hand, the Metropolitan Municipality continues the practice it started in previous years this year. The teams will place direction signs with QR codes in areas where swimming is dangerous and will direct citizens to safe beaches.
THEY WILL PROVIDE SECURITY AT 23 BEACHES
The teams worked in Kumbaşı Mavi in Altınordu district for 3 months. Bayraklı Public Beach, Kumbaşı Public Beach, Kirazlimanı Public Beaches, Akyazı 2 Public Beach, Akyazı 1 Public Beach, Cumhuriyet Mavi Bayraklı Public Beaches, Cumhuriyet College Back Public Beaches; Efirli Accessible Beach, Çaka White Sand Beach, Aktaşlar Public Beach, Efirli Public Beach in Perşembe district; Çamlık Public Beach, Demas Public Beach in Fatsa district; Kırkevler Public Beach, Çınarsuyu Public Beach, Fevzi Çakmak Public Beach, Nuriye Neighborhood Public Beach, Eski Kızılcakese Public Beach, Batı Park Public Beach in Ünye district; Kordon Public Beaches, Mavi Dünya 1-2 Beaches, Çikolata Park Public Beach in Gülyalı district will provide the life safety of citizens.
DISTRICT MUNICIPALITIES WILL PROVIDE SECURITY AT THE WOMEN'S BEACH
In the 2025 summer season, the Fire Department will provide service with 23 personnel, 100 jet-skis, 5 zodiac boats and 3 ATVs on 2 beaches so that citizens can safely carry out their sea activities. District municipalities will provide security at the points where the Women's Beach is located.
