
The Renault Duster Turkey Launch with the theme of “Leave It Behind”, which was carried out by traveling thousands of kilometers on beautiful routes all around Türkiye, was chosen as the “Press Launch of the Year” by the Automotive Journalists Association (OGD).
The ceremony, organized by the Automotive Journalists Association (OGD) for the tenth time this year and rewarding successful brands in the automotive sector, took place on June 17. In the "Press Launch of the Year" category, determined by the votes of OGD members, who are automotive journalists with expertise, this year the award went to the Renault Duster Turkey Launch, which was held with the theme of "Leave It Behind".
This success once again demonstrated MAİS’ visionary approach to communication. With the Dacia Jogger launch held in Kars and Iğdır in 2022, the Renault Austral launch in Gökçeada in 2023, and the Renault Duster launch covering all corners of Türkiye in 2024, MAİS became the first brand to win the “Press Launch of the Year” award for three consecutive years. MAİS, which turns each launch into an unforgettable story, has also proven its sustainability in the creative communication projects it develops for its brands.
In the “Innovative Project of the Year” category, Renault was awarded the “Innovative Project of the Year” award by the Automotive Journalists Association (OGD) for Renault Rafale’s Solarbay Opacification Panoramic Glass Roof technology. The Solarbay darkening panoramic glass roof on the Renault Rafale adds spaciousness to the interior with its 1 m² wide surface. Light levels can be adjusted as desired using a button on the ceiling console, thus controlling the thermal comfort in the cabin.
The launch, which set out with the slogan “Türkiye’s Duster”, broke the usual patterns in the automotive sector; it came to life with a theme where dozens of automotive journalists created different concepts and realized their own launches. The launch, which was realized by traveling thousands of kilometers on dozens of beautiful routes in Türkiye, offered a brand new experience. The launch, which was realized in 35 different cities, on a route of 32 thousand kilometers, with 81 different events for 3 months, offered each participant the freedom to choose their own route and realize their own launch, away from the tiring tempo and obligations of life with the concept of “Leave It Behind”.
This comprehensive organization was not just about introducing a car; it also established a strong bond between Renault Duster and users all around Türkiye.
While many users preferred to launch Renault Duster with their families, some users preferred to launch it with their friends and groups of friends. As a result of the event, Renault Duster managed to reach a large target audience and create a buzz as "Türkiye's Duster".
