Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality solved the transportation problem by concreting the 2-meter stabilized road leading to Kaldırım Yaylası. While stating that Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ahmet Metin Genç kept his promise for the road, Mukhtar Mustafa Aydın thanked everyone who contributed.
Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ahmet Metin Genç had addressed the citizens at the festival he attended last year in Kaldırım Yaylası, affiliated to Çarşıbaşı district, and said, “You will never come here from the stabilized road again.” As a result of the intensive work carried out by the Metropolitan Municipality Road Construction, Maintenance and Repair Department teams, 2 meters of plateau road were concreted. Çarşıbaşı Yavuz Neighborhood Headman Mustafa Aydın, who stated that the problems experienced in transportation to the plateau were resolved and a permanent solution was produced, said, “Our Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ahmet Metin Genç kept his word and our plateau road was concreted. We would like to thank him, Çarşıbaşı Mayor Ahmet Keleş and AK Party District Chairman Hakan Kocaman for their efforts. These services are provided for the comfort of our citizens. We are grateful to everyone who contributed.” Neighborhood residents Refik Kotbaş, Muhammet Dağ and Ali Ertuğral also expressed their satisfaction with the service provided, saying, “We have come and gone for years on the stabilized road. Our Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ahmet Metin Genç promised, ‘You will not come here on the stabilized road again.’ Now our road has been built, concrete has been poured. We thank our Mayor and everyone who contributed.”

Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ahmet Metin Genç said, “When we came together with our citizens at the Kaldırım Yayla Festival last year, we promised that the yayla road would no longer be stabilized. Our citizens had been struggling with dusty, muddy roads on this route for years. We kept our word and quickly mobilized our teams. Now our citizens will be able to reach their yaylas more comfortably and safely. We see serving Trabzon not as a duty, but as a labor of love. We continue our work in every field from infrastructure to transportation in all 18 districts with intense effort. The prayers and satisfaction of our citizens are our greatest source of motivation.”
