Transferred to Malaysia Airport Holdings Berhad (MAHB), the system aims to begin revenue service on July 01, 2025, improving the experience of millions of passengers who use Southeast Asia’s main transit hub each year.

Advanced transportation system, per trip Capacity up to 270 passengers owner. Newly upgraded Urbalis Flo (formerly CityFlo 650) signaling solution This Communication Based Train Control (CBTC) solution, which will operate using , facilitates faster and more efficient driverless journeys by optimizing passenger capacity. In addition, the trains are equipped with an advanced condition monitoring system to prevent breakdowns and prioritize passenger safety and comfort. The new Alstom trains underwent rigorous testing by the Land Public Transport Agency (APAD) from January to June this year.

Joint Venture and Well-established Presence in Malaysia
This APM replacement project is being managed by a joint venture (JV) between Alstom and IJM Construction Sdn Bhd and Pestech Technology Sdn Bhd (IJMC-Pestech JV). Alstom served as project coordination leader and was responsible for coordinating the procurement of three brand new Innovia APM R trainsets and the advanced Urbalis Flo CBTC signalling system.
