Mor Kiryakus Monastery Road Made Safe

The line work and installation of traffic signs on the 1600-kilometer road providing access to the 7-year-old Mor Kiryakus Monastery in Ayrancı Village of Batman's Beşiri district have also been completed.

On the road renewed with BSK (Bituminous Hot Mixture) asphalt by Batman Special Provincial Administration, driving comfort was increased to the highest level with the final stage of line applications and directional signs.

Provincial Special Administration Secretary General Abdulkadir Özer said, “We have meticulously completed not only the asphalt but also all road safety elements so that our visitors and tour operators can easily reach the region. This road to Mor Kiryakus Monastery is an important investment in terms of both cultural heritage and tourism.”

With this comprehensive work, transportation to the historical monastery is now not only comfortable, but also safer, more directive and in line with standards.
