Missile and UAV Launches from Iran to Israel in the Early Hours

Iran launched a new retaliatory missile and drone strike against Israel early Wednesday, Iran's semi-official Mehr news site reported.

“Israel’s unprovoked aggression on Iranian soil has left Tehran with no choice but to defend the Iranian nation and the country’s security by striking back at the criminal Zionists. As part of its retaliation, Iran launched a massive missile strike on the occupied Palestinian territories early Wednesday,” the report said.

Allegedly, Iran also used Fattah missiles in its “11th wave” attack on Israel.

Tehran describes the Fattah-1 as a “hypersonic” missile, meaning it travels at Mach 5, or five times the speed of sound (about 6.100 kilometers per hour).
