The Mermaid Women's Sailing Cup, which has introduced nearly 1.000 women to sailing to date, will take place for the 18th time on October 10. With the Cup, in which corporate, individual and university women's sailing teams will compete, the success of women in sailing will once again be showcased, and as every year, "Sailing for Good" will be launched.
The Mermaid Women's Sailing Cup, Türkiye's first and only women's yacht sailing race, has been organized for 10 years with the mission of increasing women's interest in sailing, developing the ability to become a team, strategic perspective, achieve goals, struggle with difficult conditions and integrate with nature, and reflecting women's sensitivity and social responsibility awareness. In the process of sharing this mission, corporate, individual and university women's sailing teams as well as international women's sailing teams can participate in the Mermaid Women's Sailing Cup.
The Cup, which has been attended by 49 corporate, 16 individual and 7 university women's sailing teams to date, will take place this year on Saturday, October 18, on the Kalamış – Adalar course.
