Israel Strikes Iran's Quds Force Command Centers

Israeli Air Force warplanes struck the command centers of the Quds Force, a covert branch of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), according to a statement by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

“In these command centers, Quds operators carried out terrorist attacks against the State of Israel using proxies of the Iranian regime in the Middle East,” the IDF spokesman said.

In a video released by the IDF, it was stated that the 10 places hit by the Quds Force in Tehran were Quds Force and military targets.

The Quds Force is a powerful unit within the IRGC, established as a special intelligence unit during the Iraq-Iran war in the 1980s. It is credited with playing a leading role in Iran's relations with armed groups in Afghanistan, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria and the Gaza Strip, including Hezbollah and Hamas.
