Harsh Message from Iranian Leader Khamenei: 'War Begins'

As the conflict between Iran and Israel enters its sixth day, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has escalated tensions even further with a post on his social media account. Khamenei used the phrases “The war in the name of Noble Haydar is beginning” in both Persian and English on his X (formerly Twitter) account. This statement brought tensions in the region to a peak.

“We Will Show No Mercy to Zionists” Message

The term “Haydar” in Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s post is a name frequently used for Ali, whom he sees as the first imam of Shiite Muslims and the successor of Prophet Muhammad. This symbolic reference emphasizes the religious and ideological depth of the message.

The Iranian leader directly targeted Israel in a post he shared on his English X account, using the following expressions: "We must give a strong response to the terrorist Zionist regime. We will show no mercy to the Zionists." This harsh statement was interpreted as a clear threat against Israel and raised concerns that the current conflict could escalate further.

The recent escalation between Iran and Israel remains a major regional and global concern, and Khamenei’s move could further complicate the search for a diplomatic solution.
