The opening of the Kayseri Model Factory Memorial Forest, which was created by planting saplings by Erciyes A.Ş. and Kayseri Model Factory at Erciyes Ski Center, where Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Erciyes A.Ş. offers ski and winter tourism services primarily to Kayseri and the whole world, was held.
While Erciyes, Kayseri's gateway to the world in tourism and the locomotive of tourism, continues to be the favorite of winter and nature tourism, afforestation activities are organized in cooperation with institutions and organizations to ensure that Erciyes has a green texture.
In this context, in cooperation with Erciyes A.Ş. and Kayseri Model Factory, an environmentally friendly and meaningful contribution was made by planting saplings in the Tekir Kapı region of Erciyes, and the opening of the Kayseri Model Factory Memorial Forest was made with the cutting of the ribbon.
Kayseri Chamber of Industry President Mehmet Büyüksimitci, Kayseri Erciyes A.Ş. Board Chairman Hamdi Elcuman, Kayseri Erciyes A.Ş. General Manager Zafer Akşehirlioğlu, Model Factory Manager Salih Yalçın, KAYEMA Foundation President Erdoğan Doğan and business people who support afforestation activities attended the sapling planting event and opening.
The nature of Erciyes was also protected with the meaningful work in which a total of 500 birch and yellow pine saplings were planted in the soil.
Within the scope of the program, a permanent contribution to nature was made by signing a protocol for tree planting.
Over 7 Million Saplings to Green Erciyes
In Erciyes, the nature and tourism value of Kayseri, under the leadership of Erciyes A.Ş. and together with collaborating institutions and organizations, more than 7 million saplings have been planted throughout the mountain to support the natural plant texture within the framework of greening Erciyes.
