WHO European Network Guests Discovered the Beauties of Bursa

Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Bozbey and his wife Seden Bozbey introduced the historical and cultural richness of the city to local and foreign guests in Bursa within the scope of the World Health Organization (WHO) European Healthy Cities Network Annual Business Meeting and Technical Conference.

While the WHO European Healthy Cities Network 2025 Business Meeting and Technical Conference hosted by Bursa Metropolitan Municipality continues at full speed, local and foreign participants had the opportunity to get to know the historical and cultural richness of the city. Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Bozbey first took the guests in Bursa to Uludağ by cable car to have a bird's eye view of the city. Afterwards, the guests visited the Ulu Mosque, Koza Han and the Hanlar Region, which bear traces of the Ottoman Empire, and examined Bursa's deep-rooted past with great interest. At the end of the tour, Mayor Mustafa Bozbey and his wife Seden Bozbey hosted the guests at the Historical City Hall.

On the other hand, the guests who visited the SCADA Center and Dobruca Drinking Water Treatment Plant, Active Life Center, Eastern Region Integrated Solid Waste Disposal Facility, Street Animals Rehabilitation Center, Green Capsule, Traffic Management Center, BURULAŞ Rail System, BESAŞ Bread Factory, which are affiliated with BUSKİ General Directorate, examined the works on site, Erdem Saker Botanical Park, Zoo, Hüdavendigar City Park, Cumalıkızık, Panorama 1326 Conquest Museum, Green Complex, Irgandı Bridge, İnkaya Çınarı, Misi Village, Gölyazı, Zindan Gate, Tophane Park and Bursa Walls, City Museum, İznik Lefke Gate, İznik Hagia Sophia Mosque, Roman Theater and Water Basilica.
