The 21st Cyprus Theatre Festival, organised this year in collaboration with the municipalities of Nicosia, Kyrenia and Gazimağusa, continues to bring 11 plays to Cyprus. Near East University, which supports the festival as a hall sponsor, is hosting four of these plays. The Near East University Campus, which is the most important art centre in the region, with the Cyprus Museum of Modern Art, the Cyprus Car Museum, the Cyprus Herbarium and the Natural History Museum located on its campus, as well as 475 individual and group exhibitions, reliefs adorning the structures on the campus and over 250 open-air sculptures, will once again host the giants of theatre this week.

This play, which perfectly blends abstraction and absurdism from Eugène Ionesco’s unique pen, also draws attention with its huge cast. The cast of the play, which takes place in the living room of an English bourgeois family, includes Haluk Bilginer, Zuhal Olcay, Yiğit Özşener, Özlem Zeynep Dinsel, Gözde Kırgız and Kıvanç Kılınç.
