Ankara Metropolitan Municipality continues its work at full speed for modern fire stations to serve in the capital. With the construction of 2025 new stations in Hurdacılar Sitesi, Karacaören and Eryaman by the end of 3, the total number of stations is planned to be increased to 51.
Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) continues to strengthen its fire department so that the city can respond more quickly and effectively to fires and emergencies.
In addition to the existing 48 fire stations, it is planned to increase the total number of stations to 2025 with the opening of 3 new stations by the end of 51.
CURRENT STATIONS ARE BEING RENEWED
In some regions where there are fire stations, fire stations are being modernized by constructing new buildings in place of old ones, and are preparing to provide service with a stronger infrastructure.
In this context, while Temelli Fire Station has started to provide service, the stations established in Çamlıdere, Kalecik and Çayırhan are planned to be put into operation in a short time.
REGIONS WHERE FIRE STATIONS WILL BE ESTABLISHED FOR THE FIRST TIME
Investments are also gaining momentum in regions where fire risk is high but where there are no fire stations to date.
ABB will establish fire stations for the first time in Hurdacılar Sitesi (Yakacık), Karacaören (Altındağ) and Eryaman. The stations to be established in these regions are aimed to be completed in 2025.
EMERGENCY RESPONSE TIMES WILL BE SHORTENED
With the new fire stations, ABB will significantly reduce the response time to fires and other emergencies. The expanded station network aims to increase safety, especially in rural and industrial areas.
While the construction work continues, every need of the firefighters in the new stations is also being considered. While the modern station buildings include a dining hall, switchboard room, dormitories, dressing and changing rooms, there are also various sports areas in and around the firehouse so that the firefighters working 7/24 can spend their free time and meet their various needs.
