95 New Passenger Cars for Ukrainian Railways

Ukraine’s national railway company, Ukrzaliznytsia (UZ), has signed a contract with Kryukovsky Railway Car Building Works to supply 110 passenger cars worth approximately $95 million with funding from the state budget.

Delivery of Wagons and Technical Details

  • Engineering plans for major overhauls in categories one and two
  • Engineering plans for unit-level repairs

This documentation will detail maintenance intervals, repair schedules and scope of work for all systems and mechanical units. Thanks to this, Ukrainian Railways will have the necessary information and documentation to ensure long-term and trouble-free operation of its new rolling stock.

The agreement is an important part of the national program of Ukrainian Railways to modernize rolling stock. The program aims to supply a total of 100 new passenger cars by the end of the year.
