Nilüfer Municipality 63rd Traditional Historical Çalı Wrestling Competition starts on Sunday, June 29. Approximately 40 athletes, 800 of whom are chief wrestlers, will take to the field in Çalı to be successful.
In the wrestling competitions to be organized for the 63rd time by Nilüfer Municipality with the contributions of Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, approximately 14 wrestlers will compete in 800 different categories. Athletes will compete in lengths such as head, under head, deck and tozkoparan.
Exactly 40 wrestlers, including names such as Fatih Atlı, İsmail Balaban, Mehmet Yeşil Yeşil, Mustafa Taş, Orhan Okulu, Osman Aynur, Recep Kara and Yusuf Can Zeybek, who won the title of chief wrestler in the Historical Kırkpınar Oil Wrestling, will compete for the golden belt in Çalı.
