5 Mixed Roughage Seed Support for Cattle Breeders in Ordu

The 5-mix roughage seed support implemented by Ordu Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Mehmet Hilmi Güler within the scope of the 'qualified agriculture' project has attracted great interest from Ordu breeders. The 5-mix roughage seed that the breeders have planted on their lands has increased the yield and quality of milk over time.

The support provided by the Metropolitan Municipality to producers for the development of agriculture and animal husbandry continues to increase. In this context, the 5-part roughage mixture seed consisting of feed pea, oat, Hungarian vetch, dehulled wheat and triticale distributed to animal breeders with the studies carried out made producers happy due to its contribution to milk yield and reducing feed costs.

MAYOR GÜLER VISITED THE ÇAMAŞ FAMILY

Ordu Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Mehmet Hilmi Güler paid a visit to the farm of Mehmet Çamaş, who is engaged in animal husbandry in the Edirli neighborhood of Çamaş district. Stating that they contribute to animal husbandry with the 5-mix roughage support, Mayor Güler stated that the producers liked this application very much.

“MILK YIELD INCREASES WITH THE 5-PART MIXTURE”

Emphasizing that the quintuple mix roughage contributes to milk productivity, President Güler said, “We are carrying out important work in the field of agriculture. We provide both the seeds and the machines for planting and harvesting. With the quintuple mix feed, the issue of feed, which is an important item in animal husbandry, is solved. Our work also activates animal husbandry, and the quality of milk and meat increases.”

PRODUCERS ARE SATISFIED WITH SEED AND MACHINERY SUPPORT

A producer named Mehmet Çamaş, who planted 5-mix fodder plants in Edirli neighborhood of Çamaş district, planted in 32 decares of land. Stating that they got to know 5-mix fodder plants thanks to the Metropolitan Municipality and that in addition to achieving significant savings, milk yield also increased, Çamaş thanked Ordu Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Mehmet Hilmi Güler for both seed and machinery support.

DISTRIBUTED 70 TONS OF SEEDS TO METROPOLITAN PRODUCERS

On the other hand, within the scope of the 2021-mix roughage support that started in 5, 70 tons of seeds were distributed by Ordu Metropolitan Municipality and planting was carried out on 5 thousand 600 decares of land.
