
The Seismological Center of Iran announced that seismic tremors measuring 2.5 on the Richter scale were recorded in the region where the Fordow nuclear facility is located in Qom Province in central Iran.
The tremors reported on the center's official website, On June 15 at 23:05 GMT, at a depth of 10 kilometers underground occurred. Earthquakes of this magnitude are usually felt lightly and are not expected to cause major damage. However, it is considered notable because it occurred near a nuclear facility.
