Having hosted many national and international races since its opening, Gülyalı Durgun Water Sports Center has become one of Türkiye's exemplary facilities with its modern infrastructure, stands, floating piers and accommodation areas. The center, which will host the 2nd Dragon Boat races this weekend, is receiving great interest from athletes.
Record Participation: 42 Teams and 504 Athletes
The interest of athletes in the dragon boat races, which are being held for the second time this year in Ordu, is quite high. Teams are continuing their preparations ahead of the races, where participation has doubled compared to previous years. 42 teams have registered for the races so far. Each team will consist of 12 people and will include 10 rowers, 1 helmsman and 1 drummer.
