Bursa Family and Social Services Provincial Directorate organized a meaningful program for the Disabled Week on May 10-16. Bursa Deputy Governor Mustafa Güney, Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Metin Tunçel, Provincial Director of Family and Social Services Faruk Uysal, BURULAŞ General Manager Fahrettin Beşli, BURFAŞ General Manager Erhan Pınar and many citizens attended the program, which was held with the theme of “Our Family, Our Differences are Our Greatest Wealth”. In the program, “Accessibility Certificate” was presented by Deputy Governor Mustafa Güney to the institutions and organizations that implemented exemplary works in the field of disabled services.

BURULAŞ, which provides public transportation services in Bursa, has earned the right to receive the “Accessibility Certificate” at 109 different points as a result of the extensive work it has carried out to make transportation more accessible for disabled individuals. Emphasizing that disabled-friendly practices will not be limited to certain areas, Pınar added that such efforts will continue to increase and that their determination to make Bursa an accessible city continues.
