Antalya Metropolitan Municipality's Konyaaltı Ekdağ No. 1 beach hosted the International open water swimming race X-WATERS. The races, which saw the participation of over a thousand swimmers from 30 countries, were started by Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Muhittin Böcek, stated that they were happy to host the races and wished success to the swimmers.
The international open water swimming race X-WATERS, where professional and amateur athletes from 30 countries and domestically competed, was held with the participation of thousands of swimmers. The race, which is included in the calendar of the Turkish Swimming Federation, was held with the coordination of the Antalya Governorship and hosted by the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality. The races were started by the Mayor of Antalya Metropolitan Municipality. Muhittin Böcek and Antalya Deputy Governor Tahsin Aksu gave the speech together.

THE RACES WERE BREATH-TAKING
In the competition where women and men competed separately, swimmers stroked the deep blue waters of the Mediterranean. Citizens gathered on the beach watched the races with excitement. At the end of the 5-kilometer stage, Aleksandr Kaluzhskii, who competed for Stamina Swimming Club, came first in the men's category, while Ekaterina Sokolova, who competed for World Class Club, came first in the women's category. The athletes who won awards were given their awards. While the races were ongoing, citizens who came to Konyaaltı beach to spend the weekend also had a pleasant day in the event area where music and various activities took place.
