YURTLİG Arm Wrestling Türkiye Finals Held in Karaman

The YURTLİG Arm Wrestling Turkey Finals, organized by the General Directorate of Dormitory Services of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, was successfully completed under the hosting of the Karaman Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports. The general ranking was determined after the finals, in which young athletes from all over Türkiye competed fiercely.

Çorum is at the top of the general rankings

Following the exciting moments of the final matches, Çorum became the Turkish champion with the points it collected in the general score.

Adana and Corum shared the first place in the men's category

There was a great competition in the men's category. Adana and Çorum, with their superior performance, won first place by collecting 20 points each. Mersin and Konya were also noteworthy provinces, ranking high with the same number of points. Kırşehir took fifth place in the men's category with 17 points.

Kırşehir Reached the Championship in Girls

In the girls category, Kırşehir's superiority was striking. Kırşehir athletes, who showed successful performance in both left and right arm competitions, collected a total of 20 points and became the Turkish champions. Çorum also came in second with 20 points in the girls category, while Yalova came in third with 17 points, Kilis came in fourth with 14 points and the host Karaman came in fifth with 14 points.

Karaman Youth and Sports Provincial Director Mustafa Karadeniz made a statement after the tournament, saying, “With our ministry’s YURTLİG project, we are contributing to the physical and social development of our youth by directing them to sports. We were very pleased to host this meaningful tournament. I would like to thank all our coaches, referees and athletes who contributed and congratulate the provinces that won.” Director Karadeniz emphasized that such organizations make significant contributions to the youth being involved in sports and displaying their talents.
