Providing information about the current status of the works, ANTEPE Construction Technical Affairs Deputy General Manager Tunahan Kara stated that the expropriation procedures of the structures that prevented the construction of the project were meticulously completed by the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality and then the demolition of these structures was carried out. Stating that they started construction activities in Balbey Neighborhood, where the urban renewal project is being implemented, Tunahan Kara said, “The cost of this stage, which has a construction area of 4 thousand square meters on an area of 9 thousand square meters including its surroundings, is approximately 250 million liras. The lack of participation in the first tender made by ANTEPE in November 2024 extended the process a little. We started the works rapidly in April after the contractor company won the second tender in March.”
