Technical Infrastructure for Tram Line Completed
Doğan Hatun emphasized in his statement that all the technical infrastructure for the tram line is ready. Hatun stated that only the official signatures are left for the project to be implemented and said, “We will immediately go out to tender after the signatures. The tender process will take about a month and then the field work will begin.” This fast schedule signals that a radical change in Diyarbakır’s public transportation will begin soon.
Will be in service within 3 years at the latest
Co-President Hatun also gave clear information about the completion time of the project, saying, “We will complete our project within 3 years at the latest and offer it to the service of our people.” This statement means that the people of Diyarbakır will have a modern and comfortable rail system transportation in a short time.
