By Konya Metropolitan Municipality Environmental planning work to be added to Beyşehir Yaka Manastır Nature Park, will make a significant contribution to the tourism potential of the region. Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay stated that Konya is one of the cities with the greatest tourism potential in Türkiye with its historical, cultural richness and natural beauties, and emphasized that they are working to reveal the unique tourism potential in each of its 31 districts.
Nature Tourism Revives with Lake View Restaurants and Bangalow Houses
Mayor Altay stated that the landscaping work in Beyşehir Yaka Manastır Nature Park is progressing rapidly. Within the scope of the project, The construction of a restaurant with a lake view and 9 bungalow houses, which will be located in touch with nature, is nearing completion. These new structures will attract the attention of both local and foreign guests by offering visitors the opportunity to be alone with nature.
Mayor Altay stated that their aim with the landscaping work they carried out in Yaka Manastır Nature Park was to open the region to tourism. is planned to be completed within this year Altay said, “We will continue to make Konya shine with its cultural richness, natural beauties and historical heritage. May the landscaping work we will bring to Yaka Manastır be beneficial to Beyşehir and Konya.”
This project will make the unique natural beauties of Lake Beyşehir more accessible and comfortable for visitors, while also providing significant momentum to the region's tourism economy.
