Tomarza Böke Canoe Project in Kayseri is Progressing Rapidly

The Tomarza Böke Canoe Project, implemented in collaboration with the Kayseri Governorship and the Metropolitan Municipality, is progressing rapidly with the latest examinations in the field. The region, which is preparing to discover canoeing along the Zamantı River, will create a new tourism route.

The Tomarza Böke Canoe Project, which will be implemented by the Kayseri Governorship and Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality, will not only increase the tourism potential of the region, but will also be a new area where sports meet nature.

Finally, important information about the details of the project was presented during the on-site inspections carried out in the project area.

Deputy Governor Ömer Tekeş, Tomarza District Governor Ali Buzkaya, Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Secretary General Ufuk Sekmen, Head of the Department of Studies and Projects Murat Baltacı and Provincial Director of Culture and Tourism Şükrü Dursun examined the work done in the canoe area in Tomarza Böke Neighborhood on site. The latest status of the project was evaluated with the information received from the contractor company.

The project, which will provide the opportunity to canoe along the Zamantı River, will offer visitors to the region the opportunity to both do sports and spend time in touch with nature. This project, carried out jointly by the Kayseri Governorship and the Metropolitan Municipality, aims to both popularize sports and the regional development of Kayseri.

Kayseri, which won the Golden Flag award and was chosen as the Best Sports City of the Year 2024, will also evaluate the potential arising from the combination of sports and nature tourism with this project.
