
Ordu Metropolitan Municipality has started work on the National Garden and the parking lot inside it, which will be built instead of the 19 Eylül Stadium. This project will both bring a new social living space to the city and solve the parking problem in the city center.
Radical Solution to the Parking Problem
Ordu Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Mehmet Hilmi Güler gave special importance to the National Garden project in order to find a solution to the parking problem, which is one of the biggest complaints of citizens in the city center. The parking lot, which was initially planned as a 420-car capacity within the scope of the project, was completed with the initiatives of Mayor Güler. 2 thousand vehicles increased to capacity.
This two-storey car park with a total capacity of 2 vehicles will breathe new life into the city by significantly reducing the traffic load in the surrounding area with its central location and high capacity.
National Garden: A New Social Living Area
Mayor Güler, in his statement at the Ordu Metropolitan Municipality Council, said, “Work has started on the National Garden. Excavation work continues. It will also be a big work. One of the biggest problems of Ordu is parking lots, and this work will solve it.”
Within the scope of the project, green areas, walking paths, rest areas and parking lot as well as various social facilities. The National Garden will make significant contributions to the social life of the city by offering an alternative and modern living space for the people of Ordu.
This project aims to both solve Ordu's parking problem and provide a new recreation area for the city.
