Application conditions
The last application date for candidates is May 15 2025 must meet the following general and special conditions:
General conditions:
- To carry the general conditions specified in article 657 of the Civil Servants Law No. 48.
- Not to be over thirty-five (35) years old as of the first day of January of the year in which the entrance exam is held (those born on or after 01/01/1990 are eligible to apply).
- To be a graduate of one of the following departments of universities that offer at least a 4-year undergraduate education or one of the domestic or international higher education institutions whose equivalence is accepted by the Council of Higher Education:
- International relations
- Computer Science
- Mathematics and Computer Science
- Computer Engineering
- Mathematics
- Economy
- Econometrics
- Statistics
- Statistics and Computer Science
- Having taken the Public Personnel Selection Examination (KPSS) held by ÖSYM in 2023 or 2024 and having received the minimum score determined for the relevant departments from the score types specified in the table below:
- To have received the minimum score specified for the relevant sections in the Foreign Language Exam (YDS) in one of the languages of English, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Chinese and Arabic, or to have an internationally valid document that is accepted as equivalent:
- To have submitted the application within the deadline.
Application Method and Dates
Candidates apply 05 May 2025 (09:00) – 15 May 2025 (18:00) Between the dates of "Turkish Statistical Institute - Career Gate Public Recruitment" service or "Career Gate" (https://isealimkariyerkapisi.cbiko.gov.tr) will be made electronically via the internet address. Applications made in person, by cargo or by mail, and applications made by candidates who are not submitted within the deadline and whose qualifications are not suitable will not be accepted.
Candidates will be able to apply for only one department and using only one KPSS score type that matches their educational status in the table. Applications of candidates who make more than one choice will be considered invalid. During the application, diploma/graduation certificate (sent automatically from e-Government), equivalence certificate (for overseas graduates), KPSS result certificate (sent automatically from e-Government), YDS/equivalence certificate (approved document will be uploaded to the system) and military status certificate for male candidates (sent automatically from e-Government) will be uploaded to the system.
The candidate is responsible for making sure that the application process is complete, error-free and in accordance with the matters specified in the announcement. No changes can be made to the application information after the application deadline. The Presidency may request the originals of the documents uploaded to the system when necessary.
