Mathematics Education with Creative Methods
The “Living Mathematics Workshop”, which started at the Türkan Saylan Contemporary Life Center, was held with the participation of 5th grade students. It will last for 8 weeks.Children in the workshop; creative drama, traditional children's games and intelligence games They will learn mathematics by living it, using methods such as these, and will rediscover mathematics with an experience different from classical mathematics teaching.
Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University, Department of Mathematics faculty member and also drama leader Assoc. Prof. Dr. Baki Şahin The workshop, which was taught by Prof. Dr. Ahmet Erdem, aims to make mathematics more fun and understandable for students.
