Adana’s Pozantı Mayor Ali Avan, in response to some press reports, said,Pozantı is not included in the High Speed Train Route Project" He stated that the news in this manner does not reflect the truth at all. President Avan stated that the statement made by the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu Stage 1 is related to, Pozantı is included in the 2nd Stage project. He expressed it clearly. Avan alleviated the concerns of the district's people and the public by saying, "Our Pozantı is included in the high-speed train project. No one should have any doubts about this."
Openness to Information Disinformation from President Avan
Drawing attention to the disinformation on the subject, President Avan said, “Our Pozantı is not outside the High Speed Train Project. This project passes right through our Pozantı. However, it should be known that the statement made by our Minister is the first stage of the high speed train project between Karapınar, Karaman, Konya and Ulukışla.” This statement reveals that the route mentioned by Minister Uraloğlu covers only a part of the project and does not directly concern Pozantı.
An Important Part of the Pozantı 2nd Stage Project
Pozantı's high-speed train project second stage President Avan, emphasizing that he is involved in the project, said, “In other words, we are involved in the Aksaray, Pozantı, Yenice and Adana project. The high-speed train line that will pass through Pozantı has been approved and is in the tender phase.” These statements show that the high-speed train dream for Pozantı is on its way to becoming a reality and that the planning and approval processes of the project have been completed. It is expected that construction work will begin after the tender phase is completed.
At the end of his statement, Mayor Avan stated that Pozantı will never be left out of projects and services, and added that he continues to work wholeheartedly for his district.
