Lake View Tram Line Coming to Beyşehir!

Beyşehir, the pearl of Konya, is getting an important project that will facilitate transportation and revitalize tourism. The new tram line announced by Beyşehir Mayor Adil Bayındır will offer a unique experience to the residents and visitors of the district. Especially the tram journey accompanied by the lake view will increase the appeal of the district.

Tram Line Route and Stops

The tram line, which will bring together the historical and natural beauties of Beyşehir, will start from Taşköprü, pass through Musabbah Park and extend to Atabey Youth Center. Within the scope of the project planned as a round trip, walking and bicycle paths and green areas will be created in addition to the tram line.

The tram line, which will connect important points in Beyşehir, will consist of two separate lines:

  • T1 Line (Blue): It is 7,5 kilometers long and consists of 13 stops.
  • T2 Line (Red): It is 3,8 kilometers long and consists of 11 stops.

Project Details

Within the scope of the project, the road slopes and turns of the tram line were meticulously calculated. Pedestrian underpasses will be renewed, preventing the intersection of the tram line and the main road, and an overpass will be built at the bus station intersection.
