
Izmir State Symphony Orchestra gave a special concert as part of the May 19 Youth and Sports Day celebrations. The concert, held in memory of Laçin Akyol at the Ahmed Adnan Saygun Art Center, attracted great attention.
Ahmed Adnan Saygun Art Center hosted the Izmir State Symphony Orchestra’s special concert for the 19th of May Youth and Sports Day. The concert was held in memory of 18-year-old violinist Laçin Akyol, who lost his life in a traffic accident in February. The orchestra shared the stage with young people. Conducted by Nesrin Bayramoğulları, the concert featured soloists Alara Hekimoğlu and Ahmet Eren on violin, Ceren Ordu on cello, Atakan Altun on double bass, Gülce Elif Şahin on oboe, and Ahmet Efe Demirci on piano. The concert was highly appreciated by the audience that filled the hall.
