President Aras: “A Journey That Opens Space for Everyone’s Potential”
Coastal Aegean Municipalities Union and Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ahmet Aras, stated the following in his evaluation of the project:
“The I Am the Master of My Life project is not just a vocational training program, but a transformation journey where individuals gain self-confidence, participate in productivity, and become more strongly connected to society. So far, we have provided training to women in technical fields such as carpentry, plumbing, and painting with this project; we organized birdhouse-making workshops with our children on April 23. Now, we have taken the project to an even more meaningful point with the ‘I Am the Master of My Disabilities’ stage, which includes individuals with special needs. With these trainings, we do not only provide technical information; we enable individuals to discover their own potential and experience the feeling of ‘I can do it’. Our most fundamental goal is to build an equal and accessible future in Muğla without leaving any individual behind.”
