Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat, at the opening of the Ruha Şifa Calligraphy Exhibition organized by the Albayrak Group and hosted by the Yunus Emre Institute in London, where he came to hold a series of meetings with British government officials and private sector representatives, said that these exhibitions of the Albayrak Group were first held in Istanbul and then in different cities of Türkiye, and that the works began their journey abroad with the exhibition in Tirana, the capital of Albania, in 2022.
Noting that the exhibition was held in London this year after Tunis, Rome and Baku, Bolat stated that the works of art in the exhibition, which established an important bridge in the fields of culture and art, were written by valuable masters of calligraphy.
Bolat, who wished that the exhibition, which will be open for 20 days in London, would be visited with admiration by art lovers, said, “It was a nice coincidence that we were able to come to this exhibition opening. It was also a nice coincidence that the exhibition coincided with our official meetings with the UK Trade Minister and his team tomorrow, which were determined a few months ago, and right before our Turkey-UK Business Forum meeting.”
The exhibition brings together various examples of the healing verses of the Quran with the art of calligraphy.
