5th International Cartoon Competition Exhibition at the Terminal
An exhibition was presented for the first time at the Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Intercity Bus Terminal, and the passengers using the terminal were attracted by unique works. Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Bülent Nuri Çavuşoğlu, who visited the exhibition, was accompanied by Culture and Social Affairs Department Head Mehmet Selçuk. Mayor Çavuşoğlu, who drew attention to the importance of meeting with art in daily life at the terminal, said, “We are realizing another first in Denizli. We want this city to be remembered with art and artists. We have a dream of Denizli as the City of Art. We want to make art dominant in every part of the city on this journey. We wanted to have a place where our citizens who come to and leave Denizli can see these works. They will be able to see our water-themed cartoon exhibition throughout the week.”
“Let's all protect water together
Stating that he believes that the works that won awards and were deemed worthy of being exhibited in the competition held with the theme of “Water and Environment” will create significant awareness, President Çavuşoğlu said, “We need to protect water not only in Denizli, but also in our country and all over the world. It is not possible for us to live in a life without water. Let’s all protect water together, let’s all save water together.”
