Trabzon is preparing to host important events that will raise awareness and touch the lives of disabled individuals on the occasion of Disability Week on May 10-16. The Barrier-Free Life Festival and Barrier-Free Life Panel, which will be organized under the leadership of the Trabzon City Council Disability Assembly, will bring together all segments of society and raise hopes for a barrier-free future.

Barrier-Free Life Festival: Sports, Art and Entertainment Together

We aim to create an environment where all individuals can have fun and share in this festival full of sports, art and music.”

The festival program will be full of rich and colorful activities. Trabzon City Council Disabled Assembly President Savaş Yol explained the purpose of the panel with the following words: “We will hold a meeting with expert participants where ideas and suggestions for solving the social, physical and cultural obstacles faced by disabled individuals will be discussed. Our panel is open to all segments of society, and together we will discuss ways to build a more inclusive future.”
