Doğan Hızlan Library establishes a strong solidarity network between primary school, secondary school, high school, university, penal institutions and other official institution libraries with book donations from citizens. The campaign, which is contributed not only by Antalya residents but also by sensitive citizens from different cities, ensures the circulation of books throughout the country.
Doğan Hızlan Library Unit Manager Original Stop, stated that the books were carefully sorted and delivered free of charge: “As Doğan Hızlan Library, we continue our donation campaign rapidly. Our citizens from all over Türkiye can send their book donations free of charge via PTT cargo. Again, institutional libraries that request books from us from all over Türkiye have the chance to access these books. We sort the donations that come to us according to the requests and demands of the institutions that request books from us, we physically inspect them and deliver the books to the institutions that request them, cleanly and neatly, again free of charge via PTT cargo.”
10 Thousand Books Meet Their New Readers
In the first three months of 2025, Over 10.000 books were collected and delivered to institutions in need. These books, which appeal to readers of all ages, not only facilitate access to information, but also contribute to the spread of reading habits.
