Başkentray, Marmaray and İZBAN Will Provide Free Service on May 19

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu gave good news to citizens on the occasion of May 19th Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day. According to the written statement made by Minister Uraloğlu, urban rail systems affiliated with the Ministry will provide free service on this meaningful day.

Thanks to this application, which was implemented with the Presidential Decree published in the Official Gazette on April 26, important rail system lines in Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir will offer free transportation for all citizens throughout May 19.

Rail System Lines That Will Provide Free Service

According to Minister Uraloğlu's statement, the rail system lines that will provide free service on May 19, Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day are listed as follows:

Istanbul: Marmaray, Sirkeci-Kazlıçeşme Rail System Line, Gayrettepe-Istanbul Airport-Arnavutköy Metro
Ankara: BAŞKENTRAY
Izmir: İZBAN

These lines will offer citizens living in these provinces a fast, easy and economical transportation alternative throughout May 19. Those who want to fully experience the joy of the holiday will be able to use free rail systems for urban transportation. This application will both contribute to citizens' budgets and help encourage public transportation on the holiday.
