Galatasaray Education Foundation's 20th Ordinary Trustees Meeting, took place at the historical Tevfik Fikret Hall of Galatasaray High School on May 14, 2025. Following İnan Kıraç, who has been the president of the foundation since its establishment in 1981, Muharrem Yılmaz was elected as the president of the Galatasaray Education Foundation.
The meeting opened with a moment of silence for all our martyrs and Galatasaray fans who passed away and the National Anthem, and continued with the reading of administrative and financial activity reports after the election of the Board of Directors, and the previous term was unanimously acquitted.
İnan Kıraç Honorary President
Galatasaray Education Foundation 2nd President Prof. Dr. Köksal Bayraktar, in his thank you speech on behalf of the discharged board of directors, announced the decision to grant İnan Kıraç the title of "Honorary President" at the last meeting of the Galatasaray Education Foundation board of directors, considering İnan Kıraç's material and moral support for the improvement of the physical conditions and quality of education of Galatasaray Educational Institutions for 44 years.

In his speech on behalf of the new board of directors, Muharrem Yılmaz said;
"Today, as we set out to take over the management of our foundation from this legendary founding team and the leader of this team, our Honorary President İnan Ağabey, it is our most important responsibility to be worthy of this great legacy, the great efforts and great endeavors.
Our foundation, which set out to support our high school 44 years ago, has not only provided very important services but also ensured that Galatasaray educational institutions reached the level of higher education with the reopening of the primary school and the establishment of Galatasaray University.
In our educational institutions, which are the apple of our country's eye, today Türkiye's brightest and most valuable students are receiving education, and the future of Türkiye is being raised.
Another of our great responsibilities is to provide the level of education and environment that our young brothers and sisters deserve. In addition, our common goal is for them to grow up as good Galatasaray fans and citizens with “free thought, free conscience and free wisdom.”
We know that the sensitivity of all our institutions and community, including its foundation, foundations, clubs, associations, to Galatasaray Educational Institutions is at the highest level and priority. In the work to be done for this purpose, our cooperation and solidarity will constitute the greatest power. Our foundation will always show desire and effort in the development of this cooperation.
